And they've prompted a community board to suggest the "Deer are not Bambi" campaign to dissuade people from feeding them. NEW YORK NEWS: City Officials Launch "Deer Are Not Bambi" Campaign
The number of deer on Staten Island has gone from near zero in 2008 to 1500 today, just 4 years later.
